Detail: the plastic rod can become brittle and broken with age. it is attached to a clip on the underside of the headlight assembly - lifting the tab on the top of the rod releases releases the clip from the base in the vehicle allowing for headlight to be removed from the vehicle. not handed - suitable for either right hand side or left hand side headlight.
