Detail: The barrel in the top tailgate handle is only removable in the early type of handle. In order to determine whether your handle has the replaceable type barrel, look at the outside of the push-button (into which the barrel fits). If it is coloured black, you cannot replace the barrel. If it is chromed, you can replace the barrel.
