Some items sold by Famous Four are sold on an Exchange basis. These items are clearly marked with a Surcharge. You must pay this surcharge in addition to the sale price indicated.
It will be automaticallly added in your basket when you order online. If you have an exchange unit you may be able to return it to us for a refund of this surcharge, otherwise
you can purchase the item outright but will not be refunded the surcharge.
Old units returned must be of the same type and application as the new unit you purchase. We cannot, for example, exchange a left-hand drive unit for a right-hand drive unit.
Surcharges are only refundable upon reciept of a reconditionable old unit matching the type purchased by Famous Four within 28 days.
Decisions on refund of surcharges are at our suppliers' discretion, Famous Four cannot be held responsible for a supplier rejecting a return unit and refusing to refund the surcharge.
Cost of return carriage is not included. We can collect old units in some areas, deducting the cost from your refunded surcharge, or you may return exhchange old units at your own cost.
