Detail: GRP kit designed to fit the existing dashboard and the existing pre-Td5 vent flap opening knobs. a basic guide to fitting: unscrew dashboard top remove any radio and housing if fitted. remove the original grey dash trim that is just popped into place cut the raised area of your dash bottom so the new trim can sit into place. sit this new section into place above your bottom dash. attach to your lower dash using self tapping screws (as per original on 02-06 models) using 4 recessed screw holes. where the vent lever lifts up and down open the hole up slightly with a stanley knife or file as the vent lever is wider on the pre 02 type dash than it is the 02 onwards dash. refit the dash top again. this clamps the top in place, however originally they are also held in place to the underside of the dash top with small taper headed screws, so re use the same screws that held the old grey dash piece into place to secure the top of the new dash . this is a very brief run through of fitting and there will be other minor steps required to fit. this is essentially a blank canvas and you can cut whatever holes you want to add the switches you want. If you just want to replicate the original features of the 83-02 models you need to cut the hole for the cigar lighter in the recess on the left of the panel, and then cut a hole for the wash wipe switch in the recess on the right side of the panel. the centre dash is screwed into place and removes just like the original. the moulding on these is extremely good with the same grain texture to the main section as original, so once fitted looks and feels original. please remember these are a retrofit kit and although straightforward to fit for most people, you still need to have some common sense when fitting or find a professional to fit for you.

Detail: This Heater Deflector moulded panel solves the problem of that crude and annoying blast of hot air to your lower legs in all Puma engine Defenders by redirecting the flow of air from the lower heater outlets forwards into the footwell, rather than directly at your legs, to create a more comfortable driving environment. The easy to fit panel is supplied with push-fit fasteners and can be fitted in 5-minutes. All you need is a 4.5mm drill. Position the panel, drill the fixing holes in the lower dash section and fix the moulding in place using the push-fit fasteners.
